Maia Fall 2022
I love that she wanted to wear her Hermione Dress for picture day =) And she talked the photographer into showing off her cape! Yay Maia!
Maia made quite a bit of money selling clay bowls she made in our driveway! She and a friend even went door to door for a bit… unknown to me. ;) I was surprised when she wasn’t still in the driveway, but she made 24 dollars!
Grandma thinks Maia is a cat whisperer, she wants her to come help socialize ALL her kittens. And Grandma’s hoping to have lots of kittens!
Maia has so many playdates with neighborhood friends now! I haven’t posted any because I haven’t checked to see their social media policies, but this nice masked picture is a good memory! She loves it so much! We see Leah and Kennedy the most and it is an absolute blast.
Maia chose her picture day outfit… She thought her Harry Potter dress would be fun… so she matches her dog
She asked me for these cool braids! They turned out so cute =)
Grandma got us some new fencing and I bought a gate so Maia has had a blast configuring different pens for her and Finn to sleep in. He pops his head up whenever someone comes in to check on them, but he stays snuggled right up to his girl.
Maia cut out tons of axolotls. She gave one to her sister, and then we taped the extras around her room. =)
Girl Scouts! We had our back to troop event, rock themed since I still had rock party favors leftover from the spring to share. The girls picked the badges they want to lead, and then they played for hours with the dress up animals tub! Sooooo fun! Maia wants to do the Potter badge! She does have lots of practice with clay. =) Maia also went to a Girl Scout event called the House that She Built! They read a story about a house built entirely by women, and they had local women builders to talk with. Maia LOVED it! She instantly identified all the tools and their uses, and she impressed all the adults in the room with her enthusiasm for building. She designed a house that involves a lot of slides and dedicated rooms for her animals. Such fun!
Maia still loves cooking! She made her very own recipe and tried baking it! The cherry smell in the kitchen was epic!
Maia loves her puppy so much! Mornings are getting cooler, so I got her this wearable blanket for going outside for puppy needs. She was dragging a bunch of blankets but it’s hard to stay covered and play with your puppy!
We went shopping together at Petsmart! Maia chose a Halloween costume for Finn, Chewbacca! So of course he also needed a Star Wars toy. He also loves this toy I got on a stick. It’s great exercise!
Stem Camp!
Maia’s class earned a PJ day and she was THRILLED!
Maia begged to join the after school Stem camp! Well, she didn’t have to beg that hard ;) She loves Ms. Teel, and she loves working on stem projects! One day I was there working the Book Fair and she got to show me all her Pixy art! Such fun!
