Back to School!

Back to School! We had a bit of a rough start to school this year, Serenity and Donovan missed the first day because of recovering from a fever!  Serenity just kept saying every time we checked her temperature that she really wanted to go to school but she REALLY didn’t want to get anyone sick.  Poor girl, but I was proud of how she tried to make the best of it.  DZ was seriously devastated and it helped that she kept herself calm, not easy when she is disappointed.   

Maia, my little night owl, is not really ready to face mornings. She is tired and a little worried when we first get to school. By the time I pick her up, she says her day was the most amazing day ever, but mornings are rough.

But I caught a little smile and wave at Annie and Gemma. She offered to hold their hands as they were walking in and I think everyone felt better. Sweet girl!
