When we came home from work today I had a big surprise for Serenity, decorations for her room! I wanted to give her room a little Christmas cheer, and when I went shopping with my sweet baby girl in mind, I bought something I would never in a million years have thought I’d purchase.
A pink tree! Can you believe it? She was thrilled and loved decorating it with purple snowflakes and the glittery snowflakes she made herself. I also added some pink snowflakes to the ceiling, even though these things do not match her room in the slightest. And we hung multi-colored lights in her secret room. I noticed she loves the lights at Papa’s house even more than the ones on our tree, so I got a strand or two just for her. =) It was a hit, and a lot of fun!
We ended the day with my lazy chile rellenos, a game of Zingo with Daddy, and books! She asked for the Grinch again twice today, she sits through the whole thing now! =)
