We threw an engagement party for Andrew and Marilyn. Chrissie got to do the flowers, and we all got to paint the invitations with watercolors, thanks to her watercolor class. =) Eric and Patricia planned wonderful fun games! They sent out a survey with the invitations asking things like "who is a workaholic?" and "who can't pass up a bargain?" Then Andrew and Marilyn had to guess who got more of the votes. The paddles indicated whether they got more, less, all, or none of the votes. Patricia came up with the theme "Old, New, Borrowed and Blue" for the gifts. Eric and I gave them the decorations we "borrowed" from my work. =)
