For Easter this year we did our traditional bunny scavenger hunt to lead the kids to their Easter Baskets. Serenity loved her code breaking puzzles so much last year she begged to get to do them again, so we made puzzles for both Serenity and Donovan. Eric used Easter wingding fonts, and the kids loved them! Serenity woke up first, which was good because her initial puzzles were very challenging. Eric didn't give her the entire alphabet, so she had to figure it out herself. Donovan woke up a bit later, and he figured out the answer to his clue about the same time, and then they had to go hunting! After they found their next clue, they split up and raced around the house, solving puzzles and finding bunnies. Their last clue led them up to the office, which they reached at almost exactly the same time. So fun! This clue told them to wait for Maia, wait for Donovan, and wait for Serenity before heading to the location of the final clue, which was the linen closet. Maia woke up right then, which was perfect as they could all get their Easter Baskets together. Serenity got a new jump rope and books, Donovan got Umbreon (kind of a pokemon bunny) and an Angry Birds game, and Maia got new bubbles and sand toys.
