In November I got to go to Oklahoma! I went a few days before Eric so I could visit with my family a bit! It was so wonderful! My poor mother picked me up at 11pm in Oklahoma City (my plane was late). It was supposed to be convenient for her to get me in OKC but she'd just moved away from Stroud, and so had to drive all the way from her new house in Tulsa. The new house is wonderful though, and I know she will love being so near Mimi and all the family! I know it was very nice to get to see everyone! We got to babysit Raegan and Carson as poor Kelly had to have surgery on her gallbladder. Jen came by with Barrett, and brought us Pei Wei for lunch. Mom picked up Mimi, so we had a real party!    The kids have so much fun together! And of course, I have so much fun with them =) Barrett immediately asked to watch Cars =) He is addicted. He loved the Cars lunchbox I brought him =) I sat on the floor with the kids running around me and every now and again I'd grab them and tickle them. Barrett even sat in my lap for a while to watch the movie. He was getting a little sick, but it was still nice to get to snuggle! Carson is SO much bigger! He was still a tiny baby the last time I saw him. Now he loves rolling around, and crawling will be soon! He is such a sweet baby, and a real snuggler =) He's cutting teeth though which is never fun! Raegan is just as cute as she can be =) She loves playing with animals. She carried this bunny that was as big as her all over the place! Every now and again she'd let me hold it so she could hold her pumpkin for a while. At one point we were hiding from the vent cleaners in Mom's bedroom, and we started making faces. She loves it when I roll my tongue. It made her laugh every time! I think she can almost do it herself =)     The kids just love this little table mom has in her play room. Technically, it's the dining room, but who needs one of those? =) The playroom is perfect! And Raegan and Barrett love sitting in chairs that are just their size. Barrett, at the moment, sounds like he's saying SH instead of S... so when he talks about sitting in chairs it's hard to keep a straight face. So cute! Later that evening (after Mom took me out for WONDERFUL Mexican food) we went to Jen's house so I could see Little Casey. I had brought him a dinosaur dominoes game, which we had a lot of fun playing! He beat me two out of three =) On Wednesday, I got to visit with Dad, Uncle Homer, Aunt Bea, and Jake! Eric was in town by then, so we all went up to OKC to visit. Jason and Tiffany were even driving down on their way to Tulsa for Thanksgiving, so we all got together! It was so much fun to get to see them! They were very excited when we told them about the baby. Dad was very proud that he hadn't let it slip =) They took us to Ted's for lunch. My favorite Mexican food from a restaurant! It was so good, but we'd just had breakfast so we had leftovers for dinner. Yum. We got to listen to J play his guitar, and he showed off his great computer graphic stuff. He's making lots of art for their walls and stuff. It was so great to get to visit! |
