It's finished! I'm sooo happy with the baby quilt! Well really it's a full size quilt that we'll use to snuggle with in the rocking chair, but it's still for the baby =) I'm going to make a miniature one that she can drag around too, but that will be a much quicker project! So here it is!     Mom appliqued all the butterflies for me! I was so proud that she got all that done while I was in Oklahoma! She sewed till her fingers were numb =) It took me an entire season of How I Met Your Mother and a whole bunch of Buffy episodes to finish the quilting. I quilted butterflies and loops in the border, and just simple lines down the Irish chain. Don't know if you can really see it in the picture =) I may go back and quilt around the butterflies if I have time later, after my fingers recover from all the poking that quilting requires. |
