Maia has a tooth! Eric discovered it when she bit him. So it's possible that instead of scratching me with her thumb she was actually cutting a tooth... =)

Maia gets cuter every day. She claps now! It's so darling =) And she waves! Well, she waves her whole arm violently up and down but she is smiling and so excited when she gets someone's attention. She also really acts like she's talking now. She kept saying Haaaa or maybe Hiiii to Eric today, and he'd respond to her and then she'd say it again. She giggled too like she was telling the funniest joke. Jennifer discovered that she is ticklish. She doesn't crawl yet (thankfully =) but she dives forward from a sitting position to get to things she wants. She enjoys lots of her toys, especially the blue bell-shaped rattle. She's truly thrilled whenever she gets hold of the wipes package though so there's no need to buy her toys. She loves books now... to eat. They are delicious. Pajama Time now has only half of a cover. =) She likes to watch the Barnyard Dance, and Eric has taken to performing it with Serenity and Donovan for her every night. I probably read her Snuggle Puppy the most, along with Pajama Time and my other Boynton Favorites.
Serenity plays with her so well. We even let her carry her for short distances now, because she is so careful. DZ loves it when she looks at him, and today during book time she was laying down and he sat next to her and giggled every time she kicked him. =)
She eats! We discovered she does a lot better with small chunks of soft things than she does with purees. She adores strawberries, mango, blueberries (peeled and chopped). She also does pretty well with the pouches that I can just squirt into her mouth. She has started doing puffs and is working on learning how to grab them and feed herself. She has tasted carrots, sweet potato, broccoli, pizza crust, applesauce, peas, and refried beans. And probably other things. Oh, she likes toast too!
