I want to remember the way Donovan talks right now. It's just adorable and I know it's changing and evolving daily.
He says: t'mon (c'mon) As in... "T'mooooooonnn, we have jackets!" With a very mischievous smile. After I said it was too windy at the park today =)
Time to go upstairs for bed. Noooooo You can show me your ninja moves upstairs Ok thanks!!! Thanks!!! In the most cheerful tone imaginable. More like tanks!
Donovan had his testing for U-School this month. He loved it, and did very well. The funniest thing was though, one of her questions was, "What lays eggs?" She probably would have accepted many answers, like chickens, birds, dinosaurs, etc. Donovan told her people lay eggs. And he would not be swayed from this answer many weeks later. I don't know if we just did too much Easter Egg hunting or if we've failed him somehow. Since his Grandma and Aunt Jen actually raise chickens and give us the eggs... this subject should probably have come up before now ;)
The newest discovery the children have made are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Donovan is Leonardo. He has been going around with two swords tucked in the back of his shirt and he comes up to you and says cheerfully, "Hi! I'm Leo'ardo!" He, Daddy and Serenity have been attacking the pillar, our walls, and the batman bopper he got for Christmas. They finally popped a hole where the water goes in so they may have killed Shredder for good =)
Donovan has started singing along in the car with lots of different songs. I LOVE it!! It gives me hope that we may have a musically inclined person in the family =)
