Swing the vine. Holding my arm/elbow. Whenever I work at the computer too long, Donovan is certain to come over and start playing with my arm. Like right now. I'm getting better at typing one-handed. He likes to hold my arm and swing on it, saying "I swing the vine!" He also just likes to fiddle with my elbow, when we're snuggling, sleeping, or just randomly.
"I do it myself =)" He has reached this stage. He can put on his own socks, and he can do his boots by himself. He can buckle the top buckle on his seat belt. This means we have to add an extra ten minutes to our exit time, but he's so proud! And except for the one day when he totally flipped out every time I tried to help, even on things he can't really do himself, it's very cool!
Pretending he's a puppy. This is one of his favorite games. He'll bring me a ball and start panting like a puppy, and basically we play fetch. Too cute!!!
We had breakfast with Jen one day at Queenie's, and then she suggested we take a trip through Pottery Barn Kids. We found a knight costume that I just couldn't resist. I'd been contemplating sewing one for Donovan, but this one was perfect. Serenity has so many princess costumes from the Disney Store I decided we needed to have the knight in our dress-up collection. =)
