I put up my Christmas decorations!!! I managed to resist doing so until after Thanksgiving, and I even waited until I gave the house a thorough cleaning. Which means Kelly, Marilyn and Andrea both got their decorations up before me! Gasp! Anyway, I just love decorating for the holidays! This year I changed things up a bit, putting the Christmas tree up on my tv stand and forgoing most of the choking hazards in deference to all the little ones. I also hung my Christmas quilt on the wall, since I didn't want to move the couch.   Serenity spent the day at her Grandparent's house while I decorated, and so she got to see the finished product when she got home! She just stared in awe for the first five minutes, and then she started to reach for one especially sparkly red ornament that Juan and Veronica gave me for Christmas last year. She got really excited then and managed to get it right off the tree! I am so happy! Christmas is so much more fun with children around! Now I'm going to finish up my shopping and wrap presents =) I also plan to switch out all the photos in my collages on the wall to Christmassy ones. Eric jumped in front of me when I was about to take photos of the new stocking location. He insisted on switching my JOY to YOJ for the first photo =) He loves switching that around, it brings him much YOJ.    Serenity is really interested in lights now, so she'll have lots of fun with the tree! I put five hundred lights on! =)    |
