I have the best sister in the world! She lets me come over and hang out all the time. We play with the baby, sometimes we scrapbook, sometimes we shop, and we often watch HGTV and TLC. I am totally addicted to a few shows, especially While You Were Out and Trading Spaces. I can't wait to have a place of my own to decorate! Until then, Jen sometimes lets me help redecorate her place. We totally redid her terrible bathroom, covering up seventies tile and installing a medicine cabinet that wouldn't hit the lightbulbs above it. Eric installed a new faucet for us.
I have a lot of fun playing with Little Casey. He is such a fun baby! He loves learning words, and his attempts are so cute. He knows I'm Chrissie, and often points at me and says my name. He knows Eric's name too, although it sounds more like Air Duct than Eric. I don't know that he'll ever learn to say it right either, because we all refer to him as Uncle Air Duct now.
Eric often comes over to babysit. Eric has lots of fun with Casey's toys, especially the sandbox, pool, and the bike that Eric assembled.
For Halloween Jen and I made Casey a last minute M&M; outfit, so he wouldn't be without a costume. He made an adorable M&M;, although he didn't want to wear his hat, so it became a goodie bag instead.
We have done so many fun things with Casey, it's hard to include them all. But a few of our favorites include visiting the Omniplex. We let him play in this little water table, and he was having fun just putting his hand in and playing with the toys. I noticed his sleeve getting a bit wet, and just as I was about to roll them up, WHOOSH! He soaks himself from head to toe in water. He was the happiest baby though! Alex and Alli were a big help taking care of him at the museum. He absolutely loves bean burritos at Taco Bueno. One day, we were shopping at Walmart and he got attached to an expensive sesame street toy. Nothing we could say could convince him to let it go, so I walked off to find a different toy to entice him with. Then I saw Jen walking off, and she said "I asked him if he wanted a burrito, and he said "Bye Bye" to Elmo! =) He has his priorities straight.
