Hi.

Welcome!

Second Anniversary Letter

Dear family and friends,

Our second year of marriage was another spectacular year. As of August Eric was still working at OU Tulsa finishing his Master's and Chrissie was enjoying her family and various activities. Eric finished his thesis, which concerned fog effects on free space optics, in December. After that we searched for jobs in earnest. In January we moved to Stroud to live with Diane, where we played at being professional organizers. In February Eric took off to California and subsequently found a job at Symphoniq Corporation. Chrissie followed in March and found her ideal job at a place called Flower Divas. We were both extremely lucky to find such wonderful jobs so quickly after Eric's graduation! Moving to California was a very different environment for Chrissie. Mountains are weird. She still looks up while driving occasionally and is surprised to be closed in. And there's a LOT of traffic. We are enjoying living here with Eric's parents and Tina, Eric's sister. Currently, we are thinking about buying a house of our own.

Throughout the year we enjoyed many activities. Of course we still play lots of games. We even catalogued the games at Eric's house. They have like a hundred games! We read many books, at least Chrissie did. She is a library junkie now, and goes through a book a week… at least. We didn't see many movies, but those we did were good. While in Oklahoma Eric started playing Neverwinter Nights with friends in California and Oklahoma, and after moving out here it turned into a weekly event. (newenhoe) Chrissie joined a gym and is thoroughly enjoying working out with her trainer Dennis. She still scrapbooks, although she has taken about a three-month break after finishing three scrapbooks for her mom.

Major events of the year include helping out with Little Casey's second birthday, Chrissie and Andrea's road trip across America, and Chrissie and Eric making future plans. We also participated in the Bay to Breakers walk, which is a Bay Area tradition. A crazy tradition, and had a fun New Years in Oklahoma with Doris, Aisha and Andrea. We visited the Oklahoma Aquarium with our friends Gavin and Jennie. We got to visit Abbey's farm, which was a wonderful reunion with our college friends.

Love, Chrissie and Eric

P.S. In case you're wondering, about this years mascot, her name is Lucky. She is Chrissie's Build-a-Bear monkey that she made with her friends. You can see more of Lucky in February 2004's pictures.
