Hi.

Welcome!

Bay To Breakers

Bay to Breakers is a seven mile walk through the heart of San Francisco. We started on the Eastern part by the Bay, and walk to the Breakers of the Pacific Ocean. It is basically a big street party and a crazy parade, with people dressing up or dressing way down. There were people in crazy wigs, one group of people wearing sharks fins as hats, and one huge group had a huge tiki hut on wheels that took like twenty people to move. It had a bar and they were making mixed drinks. Lots of elvises. People throwing tortillas. Why tortillas? We'll never know. The winner of the race finished before we got past the starting line. It was a very nice walk, especially once we were past the hilly part and into the Golden Gate Park, which is beautiful. The ocean was wonderful too, but we were a bit too tired to really appreciate it. It took us 3 hours and 42 minutes.
