Hi.

Welcome!

Serenity Has Teeth!!!

Well, it really happened!  Everyone had been telling me Serenity was going to get teeth early.  As my sister put it, she has an "angry bite."  She's been chomping on everything in reach. When Gavin and Jennie were here, I noticed the drool went into overdrive, and sure enough, she now has two teeth!!!  The front left one poked through about four days before the second one.  She was a pretty good sport about it, mild complaining for about a day, and a little clingy.  But now that they're through she's happy again!  The biggest help was giving her a chilled washcloth and the refrigerated teething toys my sister gave us.

Serenity has outgrown the infant tub!  Well, technically she still fits in it, but she discovered splashing.  Water went EVERYWHERE!  After getting drenched a couple of times we decided to move to the big tub.  She loves it!  She spent her first several baths splashing and giggling!  I got a little bath seat for her which unfortunately makes it a little harder to splash, but easier for me to wash her =)  She loves the hippo Uncle Robert gave her, it's her favorite (ok, only) bath toy.

We had our first Christmas party of the season.  We invited a bunch of people over for Christmassy food and so we could give away the presents we had made them.  We like to make Christmas presents =)  They aren't much, but it's so much fun to make stuff for our friends!  I discovered when I think of Christmas food it's all baking, so we ended up having Christmas breakfast... and pumpkin pie.  Everyone stayed the entire day!  It was SO much fun.  Serenity didn't want to nap and miss any of the fun so she was a little broken by the end, but it was wonderful fun.  Auntie Marilyn got her her first pair of shoes... and she likes them... for chewing on =)  We discovered the Patricia had bought the exact same Christmas onesie for Henry, so we changed Serenity into her onesie!  They are so cute!  =)

I made a Christmas card with my lovely new photoshop program.  Thanks Mom!  Sending Christmas cards is something I've been meaning to do for a long time... maybe next year I'll actually print them and send paper ones!  For now, I e-mailed out the jpg file, and if it didn't get to you, here it is!!!
