| Eric and Chrissie reread the first three books of George R.R. Martin. They are so wonderful we want to recommend them again!!! Eric also read Feast of Crows, which Chrissie is temporarily boycotting. Evidently the book got so long it was split into two, and the second half has all her favorite characters. So since she isn't dying to read the next book, and if she read the fourth she would be very sad that there was no fifth book, she's waiting until there's a release date on the fifth book. But Eric said it was wonderful!!!
Eric's been rereading his comic books lately, especially the Justice League. If you've ever read the old Justice League, he recommends Identity Crisis, a recent graphic novel. It's set in the present but sort of rewrites things we knew happened in the past. It's extremely well done! Nora Roberts... yes, Chrissie is still reading the Nora Roberts =) I've read all her current ones, so now I'm reading some of the old ones. They aren't all as good, but I really love the MacGregors. They are excellent! So funny =) I also read a series by an author called Kate Elliot. Actually, I accidentally told Eric I'd never read them, so he surprised me by buying the series. And then he gave them to me and I realized I had read them. But they are excellent so I'm so happy to own them!!! Narnia! Eric gave Chrissie the Narnia series for her birthday, and we both enjoyed reading them. We also saw the movie, which was excellent. |
