Maia's 10th BirthdayTrip: Minecraft!

One of Maia’s plans for her weekend was teaching us how to play Minecraft! We played just a bit around Christmas but didn’t get much farther than decorating a Minecraft tree. This time, we braved SURVIVAL mode . We died to so many zombies, skeletons, and sweet berry bushes . But we are actually getting the hang of things! I no longer get dizzy and instantly lost. Eric is mining like crazy and loves sorting our supply chests . I am farming and crafting pumpkin pie and cake. I may have screamed when I discovered three chickens and managed to lure the flock home . And then Maia switched to peaceful while Eric was driving long enough for me to maneuver thousands of blocks until I found a cow for milk to make the cake. Soooo it’s a good game
