Maia's 10th Birthday Trip: Great Wolf Lodge!
More great Wolf fun! Part of this experience is budgeting for the trip. Since the lodge is expensive, Maia cut costs by scheduling a grocery store run for food. We picnicked on sandwiches and fruit, which let her get the activity pass for unlimited adventure activities! The ropes course turned out to be one of her favorite things on the trip, and she did it four times in a row one session, and several more times today! Eric went with her a bunch of times and tried to keep up, and even I joined her once! Another part of the tenth birthday fun is getting your parents to try things they might normally not be into, like heights and Minecraft 😂. I survived the heights and may well be addicted to Minecraft 😜
Love her determination! And her dragon dress was perfect 🥰
We also did the mirror maze, climbing wall, and eventually the water park. Maia loved the tube slides and the wave pool, and I loved the lazy River. Even though my family doesn’t really understand that racing defeats the purpose of a lazy River 😂😂😂
She drove MUCH better than the last arcade visit… still not comforting 😂
Ski ball!! The best of arcade games 🤩 And not a scam according to Maia and Mark Rober 😜
We are headed home! Maia got a morning on the ropes course to her heart’s content and we defeated the Shadow Lords, ending on top of the charts for MagiQuest points and gold!!!! So much fun!!! I am the luckiest to be her Mama 🥰
From below… it doesn’t look that high and I knew she really wanted me to try. But sooo much terror and adrenaline regardless of how many times I said it’s totally safe 😂😂😂🤦♀️🤷♀️
