Maia Spring 2024 Update
Maia’s stuffie collection rocks! She lined up all her Meemeows as guardians around her bed. So cute!
Maia got a super warm winter coat from Vanaema and Far Far! She LOVES it and she remains my only kid that plays in the snow for more than two minutes at a time. Finn was VERY happy to accompany her!
Maia loves her puppy! And all dogs =)
Maia is working hard to become a stronger swimmer! Maybe someday she’ll be on the swim team!
Maia and her friend Landon made this cool creature! It’s called a Krackerwalk and it has fire breath, 23 brains, lives in the water and the sky, makes force fields and has hypnotism powers! So cool!
I got to come to her Stem presentation! Her team built a very cool car with Snap Circuits. They had some trouble with batteries but learned a lot in building and making a presentation!

Book Fair week means Maia begged for a new cookbook! There’s a new Harry Potter cookbook that may not have been too much of a challenge to talk Mama into 😂. The first recipe she picked was Hedwig meringues! Eric LOVED them! He actually finished the whole batch!
Fluffy Baked Potatoes! Maia did it all by herself, except I pulled the potatoes out of the oven!
Maia joined a soccer team! We lucked out and got invited to fill a spot on a team, and it turned out she already knew five of the girls! Such fun! She usually plays left midfield, and I think she likes it!
Eric loves the headband, it makes it easy to spot her!

Maia’s school Danceathon was a blast! She’s found several friends who love her enthusiastic hugs and even hug her back! She still loves hanging out with Ziah, even though they are in different classes now. And we were thrilled to see Lilith at the dance! So fun!!!

Maia went into a reading frenzy this spring and read ALL my Rick Riordan books! She read both series of Percy Jackson and the newest one. She read the Kane Chronicles. She read the Norse Mythology series. It was AMAZING!!!! I love it SO much! She just flew through them and loved them all! SO HAPPY!!!!
Maia thought she camouflaged well in my room. I think this was blue day for school. She had lots of friends over this spring, including some serious gaming with her friend Landon! It is SO nice she found someone who loves games and math like she does =) And they share books too!
