Christmas Around the World Day 19: Poland!

Poland! We finally went to Rhema to see the lights! Maia kept asking which country would go with Rhema and I could finally tell her. One tradition in Poland is Kulig, or sleigh rides, so we rode the carriage around Rhema! It was a great night for it, the wind was cold! Maia petted our horse, Miss Betty. The lights were beautiful and the kids decided they want aqua, green, purple and pink lights on our house next year! They found their ideal combination and we took a picture to remember. Whether I have enough motivation to decorate outside of the house is another question.

We went to Olive Garden for dinner and shared an oplatek, or large cracker. As we broke off pieces we said what we are thankful for. Maia is thankful we had so many visitors this year!
