Christmas Day

The presents are a hit! Sera literally squealed with joy for hers, especially her Venti hooded blanket, Lore Olympus books, Lumi plush and fancy new earrings. DZ got a new iPad that actually held its charge through hours of BedWars, which Maia played with him. Her agreeing to play his favorite game was one of his favorite things today 🥰. He also carried his new sword around everywhere 🤩.

Maia’s big present was a bean bag chair, which is big enough to hold half the family and our dog, so we all loved it. She also got a dragon dress which is a.) purple, b.) soft, c.) has pockets and d.) has wings! She flew around the house and landed in her bean bag chair to enjoy her new books.

We had a lovely lazy day after presents, with lots of board games, video games, movies and even a family Pokémon day 🥰. Sera talked everyone into agreeing to play Pokémon together and gave me coupons for Christmas! We raided, caught Pokémon, traded and took down every gym in our neighborhood. And we were all having fun together, which is the best.

The kids changed their avatars 🥰 Maia and Sera got matching wings, leggings and coordinating outfits. DZ and I already had ho-oh wings and he talked me into adding the Solgaleo mask 😁

Donovan was still wired with joy at bedtime, so he asked me to rub his back to help him get sleepy and he just glowed about our whole day and all his presents. I cherish the time with my sweet boy! And then I peeked in at Maia and she was sound asleep in her bean bag chair, on top of her bed 🥰. Love them all!!!

The girls finished the last two episodes of Hawkeye, and DZ rewatched them. Then I started Guardians of the Galaxy which was hilarious but the kids left at an awkward moment and left Eric and me to it. So fun!!
