Donovan's Room Redo
It’s normal to wake up, realize it’s mid-May and you really need to do something for your son’s birthday and that he’s having a sleepover next weekend so today must be the day we should paint his room green, right? 8 hours later it’s cleaned out, painted and touched up! I’m not going to make it as far as putting the room back together tonight though . He picked a pretty green! And I let him talk me into painting his ceiling which is why now it’s bedtime
Maia unscrewed all the switch plates and filled holes! She says she wants to be a Property Sister!
I love the pile of stuff the Organizing King was ready to let go of.
We replaced the desk with a bean bag chair. I finally admitted that none of my kids would use a desk unless I made them ;) It’s a perfect spot to curl up with his Wings of Fire blankie reading a book! DZ and I organized the bookshelves and bins, one of his favorite activities. He talked Sera into letting him move the Wings of Fire to his room, so he has all his favorite series close at hand, and in order!
Printed the latest family Halloween pic to add to the wall!
He’s got a chess medal, his wand from the Great Wolf Lodge, a couple necklaces, and a baseball medal. =)
We got new gaming posters framed, and a cool soccer picture. He wanted to keep his name, his wolf puzzle, and we added a few new accents, the Game on I painted for him at the AR workshop and the hexagon shelf. Plus we put his blue display shelf back up with some DND figurines on it.
