I’ve been catching up on my book emails and we’ve found some really wonderful library books! Here are two we’re going to have to buy. Serenity recommends Super powered. I haven’t gotten a turn with it yet but she’s shared bits and the illustrations are awesome!
Serenity’s AR workshop
Serenity and I signed up for another workshop! I am SO excited. The girls were astonished to see my name on the list for frequent crafters, Serenity just said her goal is to go to five classes so she can be on the list they post in the shop too! I am happy to support her in that goal Come craft with us!
AR workshop fun!!! Serenity plans to put hers on her door and I made a tray… but the colors turned out so pretty I don’t want to cover it with stuff
The Martins gave us Calico, a game about quilting and cats. Serenity LOVES it! It’s really fun, and she loves sorting the pieces.
Serenity made some gorgeous ring dishes out of clay with a kit she got at Christmas. Beautiful!
Serenity and Henry have a standing facetime call every Sunday. They meet up and chat and make hilarious comics together. One day my facebook memories popped up them hanging out at Henry’s house writing a book together. And six years later they are collaborating making comics online I love their friendship so much!
Serenity is still doing online school this semester, so she spends a lot of time in my closet, which is her favored online school locale. She gets done with her work really quickly, so we talked about adding some fun “electives.” She started taking voice and drama lessons and LOVES them! She has perfected a hilarious monologue about space unicorns, practiced scales and songs like Memory from cats, and walks around the house blowing up a balloon to increase her breath control. It’s awesome that she’s learning so many skills and having such a blast! She plans to enroll in drama when she goes back to in person school and is going to audition for performance drama! And she’s trying to get into a semester of speech and debate. She doesn’t have her schedule yet but I love that she’s so excited!
