Donovan Winter 2022: First Chess Tournament!

Donovan’s first chess tournament!!!!  He was so excited!  He and Eric drove down to OKC for the tournament.  He had the longest game round one, 50 turns! And he was still jazzed for round two, so far so good .  He went three and two and got his first chess medal!  So much fun.  Plus Eric got him three mini Oreo Blasts from sonic over the course of the day, so it really was his perfect day. 

He’s still such a snuggly guy! And he loves sleeping in really cozy, fuzzy onesies.

He loves books! He reads every night and nearly always protests turning off the lights. He’s into some really epic series lately, including Keeper of the Lost Cities. Those books are huge! He still loves Wings of Fire too, and Ranger’s Apprentice.

I spent the day organizing a garage at my new job, and came home to find Donovan organized the kid bowls .
