December 8th: Dexcom Game Day

Yesterday was dexcom night, the night we change DZs blood glucose sensor. It’s not his favorite thing, so we usually let him have some extra electronics time to distract him. So for our advent activity everyone got little gift cards to spend on Roblox or other iPad games. We almost never spend real money on iPad games so they were thrilled .

And while they were thoroughly distracted I snuck upstairs to work on my cardboard plan for the year. I have refrigerator boxes to play with thanks to Kelly and Mike! And a random delivery person in the neighborhood who probably thinks I’m crazy for asking if I could take the box he just tossed back in his truck and walking off home with a box taller than me trying to blow away
