December 1st: Advent Calendars!

December 1st! Today I switched our playlist to Christmas music and we listened to Evergreen, the new Christmas album by Pentatonix. We all love them! We also started the new season of the Great British Baking Show and I got lots of snuggles while we watched it together!

All the kids chose lego advent calendars this year and they were so excited to get started! Maia wanted the Harry Potter advent set, and she got to make privet drive. She was thrilled there was a letter in the little set and she knew it was the letter from Dumbledore. It’s been SO much fun now that they all love Harry Potter too! DZ and Serenity picked bigger Harry Potter sets that Eric and I divided up so they get to do a bit each day. Donovan got the quidditch set and Serenity is making Fawkes! She got a tiny Fawkes and Dumbledore mini figure in her first bag and they are so cute!!! She took them with her to virtual school
