Sewing Projects

New baby clothes project! I opened up the tub with Christmas clothes, and made this pillow I pinned... oh maybe five years ago

And I also found pictures of the outfits they came from

Pretty sure Uncle Juan Alcala and Auntie Veronica Tan got this gingerbread onesie... I loved it so it's in lots of pictures! Here’s Sera in the Gingerbread onesie.

Maia wore the gingerbread onesie too!

I made this little corduroy dress... and a matching outfit for a little bear I made with Mom when I was in high school. Fitting Serenity's wearing it at the fair with Grandma

We got a set of family jammies from Hanna Andersson, the reindeer jammies, but Donovan voted for these and I was pretty sure he and Eric needed these too! They LOVED them so much, I had to get them in a bigger size for DZ, and Eric is still wearing his.

Maia's second birthday, woodland theme. The green with the pretty swirl was perfect for this, and made her eyes look so green!

Elsa onesie  I didn't remember that this one was just Maia's dress, but I certainly bought a lot of Elsa nightgowns for Sera too!

I almost didn't find a picture in this dress, I couldn't remember what age she was when she wore it! But this was a dress just for Maia thanks to the Matilda Jane addiction, thanks to my friend Ashley!

After the green tree pillow, I turned the rest into ornaments and one simple pillow from our reindeer jammies.

Maia saw the pillow I made and wanted to make her own! So I pulled out the tub of her old clothes that I hadn’t made a plan for, and she chopped them up and designed and sewed a pillow! It turned out really cute! She used Skye nightgown, twighlight sparkle dress from her My Little Pony birthday (the purple tulle and ruffle edge is the skirt of that dress)  Also the Watch me Whip, Watch me Hei Hei shirt made by Auntie Patricia Tan for our Disney cruise. Flip sequins! It’s a little bit of a crazy quilt Diane M Hale, she wanted to use trim from some sleeves and we just sewed the strips on top! Two different shirts we made for Girl Scouts, one with adjectives she chose that describe her, the yellow with her skills and talents. And a strawberry shirt for my berry girl! Ooh, also the Brave and Fearless shirt we got for her Wild Krafts party, because the yellow was similar to Aviva’s clothes, and the sentiment suits Maia to the ground. She is Brave, Magical, Kind and Hilarious!

Cut, designed, and sewn by Maia!
