Snow Days!

Snow!  We actually missed two weeks of school because we were snowed in!!  It was a lot of snow and the roads were a mess, so grateful that we could have a week of snow days and then a week of online school!  It was great that we could have some days just to enjoy it but not miss so many days that we needed extra in the summer.  Maia definitely enjoyed the snow!  She built her own snowshoes out of cardboard, I think from a science suggestion one of the other kids got.  The photos are actually of her second try, as the first try was so wide she couldn’t walk.  Yay for trying multiple experiments!  I resisted making suggestions and she improved it on her own.   We made snow volcanoes, and I finally made giant ice marbles!  That had been on my pinterest board for so long!  Serenity used them to make turtle eggs for the snow turtle.
