Summer Family Fun

The kids LOVE watching this show I found on my facebook feed, Good Mythical Morning. They ask for Rhett and Link all the time! It’s hilarious. Our favorite is when they eat food from around the world, try to guess where it’s from, and throw darts at a map to guess.

The kids get into a rhythm with some games, playing them together a lot until they alter the rules so everyone wins and they use every single card and country. Also note the peanut butter spoon, DZ’s favorite breakfast at the moment.

Ava came over for a sleepover and they played with makeup!

We finally got family pictures taken again! And by the fabulous Heather Warren!!!

I get so excited when the kids agree to watch movies with me. We watched Coco! Maia and DZ loved it! And Maia watched Descendants with me and some other Disney movies!

Eric and I got an expansion to Spirit Island, and Eric made us a giant chart so we could play every single combination of characters. As everyone would when they get a cool new expansion right? ;) We’ve made it about a third of the way through as of October =)

Skylanders had another Renaissance this summer! So the kids spent hours trading skylanders, building them cardboard houses, and doing Skylanders talking games. I even found a new series of skylander books at the used bookstore since they love it so much!
