Donovan went to a regional tournament in Oklahoma City with Eric. He’s still amazing all the destiny players with how amazing he plays.
We loved Science Saturday!! They made “cat-apults.” Plus lots of rainbow fun.
Serenity helped to sew weighted lap blankets for her class! They loved them! Her sweet teacher, Mrs. Patton, told me how long the list to use the two weighted blankets she had was, so we figured out how to make a whole class set!
We went to the Cookie Crunch Off for the service unit to get ready for Maia’s first cookie season! Serenity worked as a volunteer to teach all the other girls about cookie sales! They made adorable buttons based on the new lemon cookie which say things like “I am brave” and “I am creative.”
Cooking fun! We are addicted to watching the Great British Bake Off, thanks to Sasha, and so Maia has been asking to bake even more than normal! She and Ava made this cute unicorn cake, and Sasha got little angel food cakes, whipped cream and berries for the kids to make fancy desserts!
Destiny tournament for Eric and DZ!
Cousin DND fun!
Raegan is an amazing artist!
There was a tiny bit of snow while DZ was at the tournament, but he was thrilled there was enough left for a snowball or two when he got home =)
Sleepover with besties!! They have SO much fun together
I started another reorganization binge! I went through all the tubs and made sure they fit, and shared some stuff with my little great nieces and nephews.
Maia’s class got to go on a field trip to a Chinese restaurant to finish up their unit on China! Eric met them at the restaurant and took lots of pics for me =)
Things Maia thinks are funny after she’s put to bed at night ;)
She got a Silly Scents case for her birthday that she had been begging for and she uses it a lot!
We got a new car! With lots of help from Far Far. The red car was in a fender bender that totaled it.
Learning the secrets of cinnamon toast from Papa.
Papa still comes to make us oatmeal and toast most weekends. Maia made some cinnamon mix with her cookbook from Christmas, and she practiced making cinnamon toast with Papa!
Science Saturday rainbow goggles!!
“Cat” a pult
Egg drop
Science Saturday was amazing as always! They made catapults, did an egg drop, and explored microscopes. They got to make rainbows in lots of different ways, with cds, a light table, and rainbow glasses. They built towers out of blocks, cups, and popsicle sticks. And they did a popsicle stick chain reaction! That was so much fun Mrs. Roe brought it back to Family Game Night.
Reading while dressed up =)
Maia sewed a pillow! She picked Girl Scout fabric, of course =)
Snow day walk in the beloved onesies!
