California Adventures! Andrew's Birthday

We got back to California in time for Andrew’s birthday bash!  We drove down to Bar SZ ranch for a weekend of fun!  We got to feed animals, ride horses, shoot arrows and guns, play a ton of hockey, and just hang out together!  Marilyn gave the kids these bug hunting kits and we went for an epic bug hunt.  I tipped over a haybale as the ranch owner recommended and caught earwigs for several of the kids to examine.  And each time, I screamed when the bug got too close and said “Why on EARTH am I doing this” as I jammed the lid shut.  Too silly.  Auntie Xiao caught butterflies for everyone and the kids liked them a lot better =) 

It looks like Serenity is trying to help with the candles =)
