Cruise Day 8
Cruise Day 8
It was an amazing last day of the cruise! We got to see Castaway Cay! The kids adored the beach. We got all the little kids while everyone else ran a 5k. We got an adorable pic with Daisy Duck. The girls did a great job being buddies and making it to the beach. We made castles and moats and my favorite, a giant turtle. The sand was beautiful and filled with shiny white shells. We used the shells to decorate Shelly the turtle. I went in the water, it was nice. Most of the kids wore vests so they could bob in the water. They played in the water for hours! Maia and I took a break to visit Monstro’s Point to dig for bones. We didn’t find any but the paleontologist told us lots of interesting things! Including how Disney is building boats that run on natural gas and use desalination to make their water.
We enjoyed the afternoon on the boat too! The show was incredible!!! Disney Believe was so beautiful! We got to hear Pocahontas sing colors of the wind and Mary Poppins and Tiana and so many magical songs! It was just beautiful.
Our stateroom!! We had so much fun decorating our door with crafts from La Piazza and with our fish extender Marilyn made. We don’t want to leave =)
We had one more delicious dinners with our wonderful waiters Astra and Jonathan. They were so great at keeping the kids table happy. And all their puzzles and jokes were fun for the rest of us too.
There was dancing in the atrium with Princesses and other character! Serenity and Maia both got extra hugs and visits with Ariel, Tiana, Cinderella and Belle. They even danced together! Donovan was excited to see Pluto again and danced too! Maia blew them so many kisses at the see ya real soon party. So great!
Ariel thought Maia’s Watch me Whip, Watch me Hei Hei shirt from Auntie Patricia was hilarious!
