Cruise Day 6
Cruise Day 6:
Eric and I got up before the kids again and went with their blessing to breakfast again, this time we were joined by Jack and Patricia. I ordered an omelet with the promise of one slice of French toast from Eric . Today Eric went walking with them on the island and I happily hung out with Serenity, Maia, Daphne, DZ and Evan. The boys ran off to the sports court and then checked themselves into the kids club. After playing in my room awhile Maia and Daphne headed to Dream Big Princess, where they made pretty collages, and the Hula Hoop Jam, where they crawled through structures made of seven hoops! They also spun them the normal
Marilyn was right, the Fish Extenders were so much fun!!!

Way. Serenity and I had fun together making animation cells. She painted Thor in pink and purple and I did Tinkerbell in periwinkle colors. Then we played the Mind in five where I told the boys they could find me. After the hoop jam we collected the girls and headed to Flo’s for lunch. The boys weren’t quite done with their game so they caught up with us.
Daphne said she’d never tried the splash pad so we found her swim suit and headed to the pool deck. She and Maia had a blast splShing. Then they wanted the pool so we had to collect sunscreen. Maia went for the Donald pool and so she used a life jacket. Then Andrew and Marilyn got back. The boys had zipped off on another speedy detective adventure but they made it back to the room at just about the time we had designated for mi key’s Surprise Party at Sea. The surprise was a brief rainstorm that made them quickly swab the decks. At fitst I thought it was the crew using super soakers as we were in the splash zone, it got wet enough I figured it out. Maia spent the first half in the pool and the second half snuggled up in a towel. We got Mickey ice cream bars. Serenity did some excellent dancing.
Maia and Serenity went to a rehearsal for the Lion King Experience. So fun! They get to perform songs tomorrow for us! While they practiced we enjoyed a hilarious game of times up in the fifth floor comfy chairs. Yay!! It was a challenge since the kids didn’t know a lot of the clues at first but they figured it out!
The play today was brilliant! So much singing and dancing!!!! We got to see Timon and pumba sung Hakuna Matara, king Louie sing I wanna be a Man, The Muses dang about Hercules, Mulan sing Reflection, Rapunzel sang I’ve got a dream, LILO and Stitch, Pinocchio, Sebastian sang kiss the girl. So many excellent Disney songs woven into a really beautiful story about three best friends graduating. LOVED it! I almost skipped dinner to see it again.
I took DZ and Maia souvenir shopping and Maia chose a Rapunzel doll and DZ got a Pluto hat. Great choices! Rapunzel matches the purple dress Maia brought and she had the best hair and brush. Plus we just saw her singing in the show.
