December Flashback

Quirky Lopsided Smile. She has the cutest little smile =) I love it!

Don camp for Maia. He thinks Maia has the ability to rule the world, and said she should come stay with him to work on that =)

Which do you prefer, Capri Sun or lemonade?  Why? “hmmm, I think it’s the sugar.”

Eric finally convinced Maia to let him shave the beard. In Summer he randomly asked her, “Maia, should I be smooth or rough today? And she voted immediately, “rough!” Eric figured eventually she’d say smooth, so she kept asking her. He miscalculated her determination though because she told him she wanted him to stay rough until his beard grows to the ceiling!!!! 🤣 By December he was ready to be done so he showed her that it touches the ceiling when he climbs to the top of the jungle gym and points his chin up 😂

January 2019

Maia came home from school one day and told us all about an eclipse of the moon and begged to stay up late to see it.  Well, it was happening in the middle of the night on a weekend so we said sure.  I got out my big binoculars and kept an eye on it.  The kids actually fell asleep before the eclipse so we had to wake them up to see it, but it was worth it!  It was beautiful!  And cold, but Maia was really excited once she woke all the way up. 

February 2019

February was not a healthy month for us.  All three kids got really sick, and Maia got sick, was fever free for 36 hours, and then got more sick!  No fun at all!  However, once she was feeling better she was around to help me prepare to paint the walls and hang up all my new shelves, and my building girl loved that. 

Maia actually loves to help in the kitchen! She got a cookbook for Christmas and has made a couple recipes out of it, including a granola bar recipe that was really tasty. She offers to help all the time now =)

Maia helped a lot with the butterfly wing project for EP! =)

It took awhile but we finished the puzzle we started at Christmas with Far Far

The kids gave me a Diagon Alley lego set for Christmas =) We had fun building it together!

We got fancy for the Christmas Tea =)

Maia loves buddy day with Kayla and Bre =)

Love these cuties =) PIllows, blankets, and playing video games together.

Maia LOVES playing Skip Bo! She and I play together all the time =)

Maia still uses the jungle gym nearly every day =) She’s so strong!
