December Daily Day 21: Mary Poppins Movie Marathon

Day 21: Mary Poppins Movie Marathon ! I got tickets for us to see Mary Poppins Returns today with but it occurred to me that they hadn’t ever seen the original! Maia definitely hadn’t! So we watched both. Thanks to Mrs Call they were joyously singing and dancing along! 
Watching Mary Poppin in the theater with Maia was an experience. She gave standing ovations after a couple of musical numbers. At one point it was very exciting and she said “I can’t watch this!” And she tied her cardigan over her eyes (she is definitely my daughter and Diane M Hale’s granddaughter 😂) and at the end she waved to Mary Poppins with a quivering lip and said bye-bye. It was a rollercoaster of fun 

We let Grandma open her Christmas presents when she came for the movie =)
