December Daily Day 10: Neighborhood Walk, Dinner and Donuts

Day 10: We took a walk in our neighborhood tonight. The kids loved passing out notes to their favorite houses so much that this year I got three times as many candy canes and notes. The weather was nice and we took the scooters so the only one that got tired this year was me! 😂. Maia would zoom ahead and say I’m helping you get exercise! Thanks 😜. This year I voted we go the opposite direction so I could put a note on this house I love that makes their rooflines look like trees with stars on top. But Eric drove DZ to Elsa’s house after because we couldn’t skip that 😁 The kids were especially excited this year because a few of our neighbors posted on facebook that they got our notes! One said her 15 year old son had gotten out the lights and put them up himself and he was thrilled that we noticed them!

Dinner was amazing! Ann and Tina fixed sauce bernaise, steak, asparagus, meringues and krispie treats to continue Eric’s birthday treats.

Oh, and I took donuts to Maia’s class for her birthday. Whew. 🙂. The last few days of school are crazy!
