Eclipse and the End of Summer

Eclipse!

We got to see about 87% of a Solar Eclipse!  The school had an eclipse event and we had SO much fun!  I’d gotten some eclipse glasses from a Girl Scout event over the weekend that came in handy too.  We made pinhole viewers, eclipse oreos and enjoyed some eclipse snacks thanks to the amazing Melissa Hamby.  It was a ton of fun to get to watch the eclipse with lots of friends.  My favorite part of the eclipse were the shadows in the leaves.  I had no idea that would happen and it was so beautiful! 

We had our wonderful end of summer visit from the Richards!  We went to the Discovery Lab and had a blast.  I just love how well our kids play =) 

Hammock weather in AUGUST!  We had the most beautiful weather this month!

Fashion show =)

For my birthday Serenity took me for a Pokewalk and we ended up at Philbrook.  It was so much fun!  We caught lots of pokemon and we enjoyed the art too!

Dz:"what color is the moon?" I asked him what color do you want it to be and he replied "Gray. It should be realistic." I love his tongue poking out :).

For my birthday Eric arranged such a fun surprise!  I got to go to yoga and the bookstore with my sister, lunch at Taziki's with Mom and Jen, a play with Mom, and dinner and mani-pedi with Molly!  SO much fun!!!!

The kids were inspired by my manicure =)  DZ too of course.
