Today we celebrated the first Christmas of the season. Ann made yummy Swedish Pancakes, which everyone gobbled down including Serenity. We opened presents, mostly for Serenity but a few for the rest of us as well. I got adorable new Tinkerbell ornaments for my tree! Serenity LOVED her new dollhouse furniture and Dora and Boots figures. We had a lovely day playing games together. We even played croquet! It was Ann, Tina and me against Eric, John and Serenity. Which was about right =) I thought when she got tired of the game they’d start playing her turns, but no, they followed the rules and hit her ball around the course using their balls. Which meant that they lost, but only by about three wickets, which is awesome and a little embarrassing at the same time. =) We also played some board games and had Eric’s traditional birthday dinner of steak and sauce béarnaise.
